I have an MSc in Medical Parasitology from The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, however, my journey in the NHS began as a healthcare assistant  where I became involved in quality improvement work. I have several years of experience working in quality improvement which has been driven by my passion to improve the quality of services offered by the NHS.  I was the Physical Health Innovation Lead in Kensington and Chelsea where I led quality improvement work in inpatient and community mental health teams with the aim of improving the quality of assessments and documentation of physical health assessments and interventions. I also co-led a project aimed at improving the wellbeing of staff in an inpatient mental health unit.

I regularly deliver Bitesize QI training to staff which is an introduction to the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Model for Improvement.
