About this course

This course is for doctors and other suitable qualified professionals (psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists and nurses) who already have Approved Clinician status under s12ZA of the Mental Health Act and require a refresher as part of the renewal process.

This course automatically covers Section 12(2) approval, therefore no need for medical doctors to attend a separate Section 12(2) refresher course for Section 12 renewal.

This first stage of this course is an online E-Learning course which should take around half a day to complete followed by a live online Webinar on one of the advertised dates.

The e-learning and webinar link will be sent to each participant upon receipt of payment/booking.

Please be aware that the last booking date is two weeks prior to each session.

This course is free to CNWL staff but it will cost £225 to anyone outside of CNWL.

Please note all applicants are required to register at least 3 weeks in advance.
