Description

This listing is for organisations and teams who want advice, support, or delivery related to peer support and lived experience practice.

In Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust we are exemplars of lived experience work. We have created 150+ peer and lived experience roles across a wide range of service lines, with a career pathway spanning Band 3 to Band 8c. We have also won a contract to deliver Level 4 training and Specialised Peer Supervisor Training across the South and East of England. It means we have real-world experience of building, embedding, and sustaining lived experience roles at scale, including governance, supervision, training, role design, recruitment, and quality assurance. We also have a developed Lived Experience Workforce Strategy (2024–2030), signed off at executive level. It sets out a clear, practical approach to growing lived experience work safely and sustainably, covering workforce infrastructure, access and equity, service culture, and a clear career pathway. The strategy is frequently requested by other organisations as a benchmark and starting point, and we can share learning from how we designed it and how we are implementing it in practice.

How enquiries work:

  • Step 1: Free 20-minute discovery call (online) to understand your context and what you need.
  • Step 2: If useful, we offer paid services. We do not list prices publicly; we provide details after scoping and any time/input we provide will be bespoke to you or your organisations needs.

Paid options (we will confirm scope first, then share rates/quotes):

  • Hourly consultancy session (60 minutes) — focused advice/support on a defined topic (e.g., role design, supervision model, governance, evaluation, implementation planning). Charged at an hourly rate (not listed publicly). The hourly rate will be dependent on the colleague supporting. General consultation will be at a set price based on an average of the senior management teams input which will be supporting your consultation, if you need specialist support we can offer the most relevant colleague to support this. We have the following roles in our Senior Management Team who manage and operationalize a wide scope of Lived Experience Practice:
    • Trustwide Head of Lived Experience Workforce (Head of Profession)
    • Trustwide Lived Experience and Peer Support Lead
    • Trustwide Peer & Lived Experience Training and Development Lead

Deputy Peer Support Lead

  • Working alongside / co-development support (hourly rate) — practical support delivered over multiple sessions (e.g., developing or refining a training package with you; creating learning objectives and session plans; developing train-the-trainer delivery; refining team integration resources). Charged at an hourly rate (not listed publicly).
  • Executive Roundtables (paid) — invite-only networking and shared learning sessions, up to 8 spaces per roundtable, theme-led and facilitated.

Enquiries / automatic routing inbox: All website form submissions should generate an automatic email to: cnwl.peersupport@nhs.net
